The guy who did Porky's and A Christmas Story. Seems like an interesting person.
A Christmas Story (1983) -- One of those movies that's so perfect that it's barely even a movie. One of the true Christmas classics, second only to probably It's a Wonderful Life. Those 24 hour TNT showings are magic. Certainly the inspiration for many movies and TV shows to come (The Wonder Years and That 70s Show comes to mind). A
