Like It Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters (2007) -- Directed with Dave Willis. I never really watched the show, and -- when I did -- didn't think it was all that funny.  I've gotten a little bored of random postmodernism in my old age, especially in loud cartoons.  But I ended up seeing this in the theater anyway (with a fan of the show) and actually liked it.  I've heard fans of the show say that either the movie didn't live up to their expectations or that it was just all right.  Maybe my not being a fan of the show helped me enjoy it more.  The feature-length running time seemed to help the writers have time to develop the jokes and story, where the fifteen minute show just tried to cram everything in at once and leave you with a bite-size bit of nothing.  I have to admit that the funniest stuff to me was some of the best use of cursing I've ever heard in a movie.  Cursing has been boring for a long time now too, but these guys freshen it up.  I also kind of enjoyed the subtext of the movie, which was something about loneliness (specifically a lack of girlfriends, or a female presence at all), being out of place in the world, dueling arguments about whether where you come from is important or not (conclusion: it seems like it's important, but it's actually not), and the randomness, messiness, and futility of life that arises from all of the above.  Not being at all the target audience of this movie, I think I had a better appreciation of it: an outsider looking into a weird world that makes more sense to me than those who live in it.  Extra notes: Mastodon's "Cut You Up with a Linoleum Knife" should play before every movie screening.  The title should have just been Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon The Movie.  The way it is now is kinda stupid and more of a Borat joke.
