Stephen Herek

Comedy dude.

Critters (1986) -- I don't remember this enough. It seemed critterific enough. (See Mick Garris for the sequel, Critters 2: The Main Course.)

Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989) -- "I must have fallen out of my armor." "What's that [green stuff in the time-tunnel]?" Keanu Reeves finds the role that's perfect for him, one year after doing Dangerous Liaisons. This actually isn't a bad movie for a bad movie, if you know what I mean. It's kind of nicely stupid on purpose. (See Peter Hewitt for the sequel, Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey.) C

The Three Musketeers (1993) -- A pretty dull, silly, and pointless version of this story. D
