Director of primarily dumb comedies like Taxi.
Fantastic Four (2005) -- Kind of the dumb second-cousin of lots of the bigger superhero movies, but a lot of fun nonetheless. The basic premises of the Fantastic Four (stretchy men, rock dudes, etc.) is kind of ridiculous, so it's good that the movie works primarily as a comedy. There's no way any of this could have been presented seriously (though that also might have been a good joke). The whole thing has an immature teenage quality to it that I like. B
